The Foundation Years: Why Pre-Primary, Primary, and Grade One Matter
The early years of education are like planting seeds in a garden—the care, attention, and nurturing during Pre-Primary, Primary, and Grade One set the stage for a lifetime of growth and learning. At Lakeview Academy, we believe these formative years are crucial for developing not only academic skills but also curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
In Pre-Primary, we focus on creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and develop their social skills. Through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and a strong emphasis on phonics and early literacy, children build a solid foundation in reading, writing, and problem-solving. We introduce basic math concepts in fun, interactive ways, helping young minds develop a love for numbers and patterns.
